Fellow classmates:

Below is a letter that was shared with classmates during the sharing time at our 40th reunion. Margie Schubert, Sandy's wife, found it and thought his classmates might enjoy it. By way of background, this letter was written in 1966 by Pete Johnson and me from our residence in Manhattan Beach, California, to our roommate Sandy who was working on a consulting assignment in Washington D.C. His employer had secured a government contract to investigate the economic feasibility of farming catfish and had assigned Sandy temporarily to Washington. It should also be noted that some of the references in the letter refer to Sandy's well known penurious nature.
