Tracy Eason Mochizuki

Ah, what happy memories I have of Pomona College. From the development of lasting friendships at Harwood Court and German House to the frantic typing of my thesis at Mudd-Blaisdell, my college life was full of the joy of learning, a pleasure that continued throughout my professional career as a librarian.

Learning about life and people through the academe and the fellowship of classmates and teachers determines my success every day. But a special mention must be made of Dean Jean Walton for her good counsel and another “thanks” to Dr. Burdette C. Poland for his insightful advice and support. Of equal value was the merry support given to me by friends: Jean Barnes, Judy Beckman, Andrea Bond, and Christine Lilyquist, whose close companionship I miss.
